Our Activities


Persatuan Sri Ramakrishna Sarada, Malaysia conduct various type of activities to enriched our mind and soul. We also conduct some social activities to serve the urban poor who are mainly based in the Desa Mentari area and also in Shah Alam. See below for more details.

Single Mother Support Programme
    Helping single mothers meet the daily life challenges by providing dry goods such as rice, milk, milo, dhall and etc every month. We also provide financial aids support for the families for their educational, medical and other needs. Currently there are 14 families under the society's care.

Desa Mentari Self Study Centre
    With a view of taking education to the door of the common man, the society provide a place to study for poor students in the Desa Mentari area. Currently we have rented an apartment in a Desa Mentari low cost multi storey apartment building to conduct the classes. The apartment is fully equipped with air conditioning, tables and chairs and the class operate daily from 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm. At the moment, the classes are attended daily by about 80 children of all races.

Free Tuition Scheme
    We also provide transport for primary and secondary school going children from the Desa Mentari area to attend free tuition classes every sunday. There are currently about 150 children attend these classes.
